CCSA Library Services
CCSA professional and technical staff members have broad experience in critical evaluation of laboratory and clinical data, structure-activity relationships, and information technology. Our scientific staff analyzes such data and prepares materials for inclusion into research-based and technical documents. Our library staff has extensive expertise in searching and retrieving scientific literature and other information from on-line resources (such as PubMed and other National Library of Medicine databases, Medscape, PDQ, STN, Dialog, cancer.gov, etc.).

We perform targeted searches and routine surveillance of resources such as bibliographic indexes and databases, cancer science journals, trade publications, conference proceedings, and relevant Internet sources (e.g., Nature Cancer Update, BioMedNet, and pharmaceutical/biotechnology company websites). We regularly work with our clients to draft, develop, and finalize scientific presentations in public forums and manuscripts for publication.

We have provided support to the Best Pharmaceuticals for Children Act (BCPA) at NICHD and the Cancer Steering Committee of the Biomarkers Consortium, a public-private partnership among NCI, FDA, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), patient advocates, and the pharmaceutical industry under the auspices of the FNIH.
